The Ranch facility will not be available for the August show. HPPHC directors have worked diligently to find a new facility so we can HORSE SHOW!!!
HPPHC is announcing a change in location for the August 2020 show. We will be hosting the August show in Grand Junction, please make your stall reservations now. The show bill will be uploaded soon, so you can preregister as well.
We look forward to seeing you there. Thank you for supporting the show, we look forward to seeing everyone soon.
All Breed classes open to EVERYONE, professionals will be scored but not judged in equitation, horsemanship and showmanship classes. All Breed classes will run prior to the APHA class. Fabulous prizes and hi-points for ALL divisions including All Breed!
High Plains Paint Horse Club sponsors several registered Paint Horse shows throughout each year. In 2011, we added a Green Horse series and due to its success we will continue to offer those classes. The Green Horse classes allow inexperienced horses (those with fewer than 10 APHA points) of any age to compete in Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Trail and Western Riding. We are proud to offer both APHA-approved Youth Walk-Trot classes (age 5-10), and Amateur Walk-Trot (for carded and approved Amateurs). HPPHC’s Walk-Trot classes are still only $10 each! Finally, HPPHC continues to offer Solid Paint Bred classes and Driving classes– there is something for everyone!
HPPHC is a volunteer organization where the board members, directors, club members and participants help to run the horse shows. See Club Info about how you can join the fun at a horse show, when you are not competing.
