Futurity Series

This is a progressive futurity series from 2024 – 2027

• • • Foals born in 2024 will compete in their respective halter classes.
    • As yearlings in 2025 they can be shown in yearling halter and lunge line.
    • As 2 year olds in 2026, they can be shown in Ranch Rail, Western Pleasure, and or Hunter Under Saddle.
    • In 2027, as 3 year olds, they can be shown in Ranch Riding, Western Pleasure, and or Hunter Under Saddle.
    • In each of these futurities, a point system will be used based upon their placings to determine the winner of the series.
    • Each futurity class builds its own purse based on the number of entries and will payback 100%.
    • The series purse is built from Stallion, Mare and Foal nominations, as well as sponsorships.
      There are also incentives that pay back the Stallion and Mare nominator.
    • This is open to APHA, AQHA, ApHC, and any other breed, or color breed association.
    • This year’s weanling halter futurity will be held September 8th at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont, Colorado.
